Emiliana Guereca
FOUNDER
Emiliana Guereca is an activist, feminist, entrepreneur, and President of Women’s March Foundation, which she founded in 2016. She is the driving force behind the 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 official Women’s Marches in Los Angeles. She is currently gearing up for a virtual January 2022 Women’s March Town Hall. Emiliana devotes much of her time to advocacy programs for women’s rights, Latino education, and gender equality and has served as the bridge between community organizations and coalition building that spans national levels. In 2020 Emiliana launched Women’s March Action, the 501(c)4 political arm of Women’s March Foundation. Personally, Emiliana is proud to serve her Latin community and has also built roots in the Jewish community, as she raises her family in the Jewish faith. Emiliana has been awarded the National Women’s Political Caucus: Women of Courage Award 2019, the State of California: Pioneer Women of 2017 Award, the HOPE: Latina of the Year Award 2017, LA County: Pioneer Women of 2018, and the Pat Brown Institute: Civic Engagement Award 2018.

Frances Carrillo
BOARD MEMBER
Fran comes to WMF with decades of nonprofit experience in a variety of contexts, from grassroots to statewide efforts in the arts, education, and politics. She is a professional working woman with an MBA and has been in management for more than 25 years managing financial, communications, and human resources for nonprofits and small businesses. In her work, she also heads a national membership organization’s Marketing and Communication Team. After 5:00, her alter ego as a women’s political advocate takes over and has her involved in women’s political organizations both locally and statewide for Women’s March and the League of Women Voters. She is especially motivated to have more women of color like herself to be represented in the leadership of organizations and to encourage the next generation to get involved and take the lead.
Fran brings her professional marketing/PR and branding experience to the WMF Communications team providing direction and oversight.

Vayakone Terry
DESIGNER
Vayakone Terry is the Creative/Graphics Designer for Women's March Foundation/Los Angeles. She has more than 15 years in the creative space with a strong background in graphic/web design, strategic marketing, campaign management, brand development, social media marketing, data analytics and reporting, content development, and concept design and organization. Vayakone served as the creative director for a fast-leading, women-owned creative talent, brand, and marketing agency, The Sax Agency, helping brands identify, market, and position themselves to their respective industries. Her résumé includes the Golden State Warriors, Memphis Grizzlies, the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, Howard University, Amber Rose, and a handful of nonprofit agencies throughout the nation. Vayakone is an advocate for positive change, women's rights, and equality for all.

Milena Boj
TITLE
Milena Boj is a senior at Animo Jackie Robinson Charter Hisch School and is an intern for Women’s March Foundation. Milena has been a volunteer for Women’s March Los Angeles since its inception in 2016. Milena is the recipient of several scholarships to various schools and is excited to be a first-generation college attendee in her family.
